YAK BREEDING PROGRAM
There is enough grassy meadows moor for grazing from the height of 3000 up to 4500 near Khopra Khayar region. Shepherd take their sheep to graze them in June. By using this grassy field for income source of school, as a trail there is yak breeding farm. Yaks were brought from Mustang district. Now there are 104 yaks. Trail and investigation of yak breading farm has showed good result. Yak's blood, meat, milk, ghee, churpi (like panir but hard), tail is sold. We have succeded to get some profit and income from this program. Two persons are kept to look after yaks on wage.
